PARENT PARTICIPATION POLICY
To be successful, Larkspur Canyon Devo must be a community-driven organization that relies on the active participation of our team members’ families in both coaching on rides, helping at events and with team logistics. To ensure the continued success and growth of our program, we ask each family to contribute in one of two ways:

1. Volunteer Commitment:
-
Each family is required to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per season. Volunteer opportunities include:
-
Helping with race day logistics
-
Providing transportation for riders
-
Organizing team events & logistics
-
Keeping track of team financials
-
Serving as a ride leader or sweep on team rides
-
Parent roles include:
-
Level 1 Coach
-
Level 2 Coach
-
Level 3 Coach
-
Operations Manager
-
Social Chair
-
Equipment Manager
-
Finance Manager
-
Shuttle Driver
-
-

2. Financial Contribution:
-
For families unable to meet the volunteer hour requirement, we offer the option to contribute financially instead. The suggested donation is $750 per season. Contributions can be made through our website or by check. These contributions helps cover operational costs, including:
-
Equipment for those in need
-
Race entry fees for those in need
-
Safety gear and first aid supplies
-

Our program thrives when everyone pitches in. Whether through time or financial support, family participation ensures we can provide a high-quality, safe, and fun experience for all our riders. Volunteering also allows you to engage more deeply with the team and be part of your child’s mountain biking journey.

Volunteer roles will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If meeting either requirement presents a hardship, please contact us directly to discuss alternative arrangements.
